Sri Veda Gayatri Temple was founded in 2024with a singular vision to establish a sacred spiritual home that preserves and promotes the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma while serving the growing Hindu community in California's Central Valley. Located at 702 W Yosemite Ave, Manteca, CA, the temple stands as a beacon of devotion, spirituality, culture, and community, welcoming people of all ages to experience the richness of Vedic traditions.
As a California Registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization (Tax ID: 99-4945072), Sri Veda Gayatri Temple is dedicated to serving the community with integrity, transparency, and the highest standards of Vedic worship and spiritual practices. Every donation made to the temple is fully tax-deductible under U.S. law and directly supports our religious, educational, and charitable initiatives.
Our temple offers a wide range of spiritual and cultural services, including daily pujas, sacred homams, life cycle samskaras, Vedic astrology consultations, and religious observances. The temple organizes festivals, community gatherings, and charitable outreach programs that bring families together in devotion and service.

Dear Devotees and Well-wishers, As we welcome the new year, my heart is filled with immense gratitude for the blessings of the divine mother Gayatri and the unbroken support of our extended temple family from last two years. Sri Veda Gayatri Temple organization has grown not only spiritually as a sacred space where devotion, culture, learning, and community continue to flourish.

“देहो देवालयःप्रोक्तो जीवो देवःसनातनः” is what our scriptures preach which means “The body is said to be the temple and the living being is the eternal God” . So, one might get a doubt or start thinking “If so why do we need a temple at all?” . Yes, what the scriptures says is absolutely true but with a caveat that if one can raise to that level of absolute understanding of our Advaita Phylosophy as preached by Jagadguru Adi Sankaracharya, we may not need any temples or even idol worship. However, the Jagadguru also knew that in this Kaliyugam preaching this absolute reality of an individual human being is very very difficult and identifying the self as GOD is beyond the reach of almost all humanity barring some predestined souls that we come across in each generation like – Kanchi Paramacharya, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa or Saint Ramana Maharshi etc” and that is why the Jagadguru himself established the Peethams or CoE as we call in this internet age and the establishment of Temple as per the Agama Sastras. When we visit a temple that is built to the prescribed norms of Agama Sastram and install an idol with all the rituals like Adhivasam, Yantra Pratishtha etc the idol, till then a representaion in rock form, becomes live radiating energy and positive vibrations in the entire premises. Whenever we visit temples we get submerged in such vibrations and energy which rejuvantes our body and spirit. This is the need and purpose of a temple in our life and we need to promote this culture and understanding to our future generations as well and should not end with us. So, visiting temles as a family is one of our traditional practice in many families, especially places like, Tirupati, Kasi, Pancharama Kshetras or Sakthi Peethams etc. It is indeed my privilege to be part of this temple Board of Directors and be able to guide and promote our Sanatana Dharma to the devotee community as an instrument of the LORD!!! It is a privilege to be part of an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Sanatana Dharma, Vedic traditions, cultural heritage, and community service. As a Board Director, my primary responsibility is to support the temple's vision and ensure that our organization continues to serve devotees with integrity, transparency, and excellence.. My goal is to contribute my professional experience and leadership to help VGCC grow into a vibrant spiritual and cultural institution that serves both current and future generations.

Namaste. I feel truly blessed to serve our Veda Gayatri temple and community in many roles. From childhood, I have believed that culture is not just tradition but a sacred bridge that connects us to the Divine. To me, dance is prayer in motion – an offering of body, mind, and soul. Through the art of Kuchipudi, I strive to share this devotion with my students and help them experience the spiritual joy of dance. As a Board of Director, I see my service to the temple as an extension of my spiritual journey – a form of seva that allows me to give back to the community that has given me so much. It is my heartfelt wish to help preserve and promote our traditions, so that our temple continues to thrive as a place where faith, culture, and devotion flourish for generations to come.
